The app runs 24/7, manages its own schedules, syncs prayer times automatically from official Qatar government sources, and can even start and close itself according to your chosen timings – with almost no daily manual work required.

How It Works

1. Syncs Official Prayer Times
   The app connects to the official Qatar Ministry prayer time service and downloads accurate prayer timings for your location and timezone (Arabia Standard Time, UTC+3). You can schedule multiple automatic syncs per day and fetch several days of data ahead. 

    

2. Plays Background Audio Continuously
   You can create a dedicated background playlist of nasheeds or suitable music. The app plays this list continuously during non-prayer times with optional shuffle and repeat modes. 

    

3. Automatically Pauses for Azan
   When prayer time approaches, the system fades out the background track, applies a short buffer period if configured, and then plays the Azan or your chosen prayer playlist for that prayer. Once finished (and after any buffer time), background audio resumes with a smooth fade-in. 

    

4. Runs On Its Own
   With options like auto-start with Windows, auto-open at specific times, auto-close at night, and quiet hours, the Azan Player can manage itself with almost no daily interaction from staff.
